Dr. Georgia Stavraki is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at the Department of Organisation Management, Marketing and Tourism of IHU. She holds a BSc in Economics, an MSc in Informatics and Management, and a PhD in Economics (research field: Consumer Behaviour) from the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is also a Fellow of the UK Higher Education Academy.
She has worked (2016-2023) as a Senior Lecturer in Marketing at the Surrey Business School, University of Surrey (UK), where she was also the Programme Director of the “MSc in Strategic Marketing”. She has taught various courses in both undergraduate and postgraduate level at Surrey Business School and Oxford Brookes University. Her research interests lie in the areas of experiential consumption, arts marketing, visual research methods in marketing and consumer behaviour, and the use of arts-based methods in marketing education. She has published in academic outlets including Management Learning, European Journal of Marketing, and Qualitative Market Research, among others. Her work has also appeared in books and international conferences such as in the Association for Consumer Research, European Marketing Academy, και Academy of Marketing.
