Dr. E. A. Alexiadou is a teaching fellow at the Department of Organization Management, Marketing and Tourism of the International Hellenic University. She holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from the Law Department of the Faculty of Law, Economics and Political Science of Aristotle University of Thessaloniki (AUTh), a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in International and European Legal Studies (with distinction) from the Faculty of Law, AUTh, a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from the Law School, University of Northumbria at Newcastle and a Master of Science (MSc) in Healthcare Administration from the Hellenic Open University. In 2016 she received her PhD degree from the Faculty of Law of the University of Leiden (research programme: Effective Protection of Fundamental Rights in a Pluralist World). Additionally, dr. E. A. Alexiadou has completed a postdoc at the Faculty of Law, AUTh in the research field of corruption and human rights in the healthcare sector funded with a research grant by the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY Greece) through the Operational Programme «Human Resources Development, Education and Lifelong Learning».
Dr. E. A. Alexiadou works in Thessaloniki as a Lawyer at Supreme Courts (member of the Thessaloniki Bar Association) and lectures at the International Hellenic University (IHU) and at the Hellenic Open University (HOU). She has written 5 monographs – books and several articles – papers in peer-reviewed journals and collective volumes in Greek and English language. She has participated in a number of scientific conferences and seminars in Greece and abroad. She is a member of the European Scientific Network on Law and Tobacco and a member of the European Association of Health Law.
