About the project
The INTERSMARTS project is an innovative initiative that aims to promote sustainable tourism development and the blue economy in the Black Sea region. In collaboration with academic institutions, businesses and policy makers, the project focuses on developing interdisciplinary solutions that enhance the sustainability of the tourism sector, the protection of the natural environment and the enhancement of cultural heritage. Through networking, knowledge exchange and implementation of good practices, INTERSMARTS creates the conditions for cross-border cooperation and regional development with long-term benefits for local communities.
