Prof George Stalidis

George Stalidis is Professor in the Department of Organisation Management, Marketing and Tourism of IHU (former Department of Business Administration, ATEITh) with specialisation in Knowledge extraction & modeling and multidimensional statistical data analysis. He holds a Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, M.Sc. in Control and Information Technology from UMIST, UK and Ph.D. in modeling, simulation and image processing from the Medical Department of AUTh.

His research interests include knowledge engineering, business intelligence and analytics, multidimensional statistical  data analysis, and machine learning. He has research experience in business intelligence applications in marketing and tourism management, web applications for e-business and knowledge sharing, analysis of social survey data, as well as in signal and image processing.

George Stalidis has long research experience as coordinator or technical manager in European and national research projects, while his published work includes 30 research articles, 1 book, 3 chapters in collective volumes and 62 publications in conference proceedings.
